Technical Specifications:
Type: Internal FPC Ribbon Cable with Metal Dome Switches.
Function: Transmits the physical “click” signal of the Power and Volume buttons to the motherboard.
Placement: Installed inside the frame (Side rail).
Common Fixes:
Unresponsive Buttons: The phone does not react when pressing power or volume keys.
Stiff/Hard Buttons: The buttons lost their “click” feel and require hard pressure to work.
Stuck Button: The phone restarts loop or changes volume on its own due to a shorted dome switch.
